3-Ingredient Dairy-free Raw Fudge

Author Noelle Parton

  • Coconut oil, cold-pressed
  • Date paste
  • Cacao powder, organic and raw preferrably
  • Water
  • Toppings of choice, optional

  1. Put softened or melted coconut oil in a blender. Alternatively, you can use an immersion blender.
  2. Add about equal amounts cocao powder, depending on how rich you like your chocolate flavor, and just a spoonful or so of date paste. Start with less than you think, as you can always add more.
  3. Add about 1/4 the amount of coconut oil used in water. The water is important in preventing the fudge from becoming too hard.
  4. Blend on high for just about 15 seconds or so.
  5. Taste. Is there enough cocao powder? Is it sweet enough? Add more cocao powder or date paste if needed and blend again.
  6. Pour into a container or pan lined with parchment paper. You want your fudge to be about an inch thick, so plan your container accordingly. Place in the freezer or fridge to set up and store in the either depending on how solid you want it.

  7. Add toppings if you'd like (it's totally amazing without, too!). Slice and enjoy!
